Frequently asked questions
Which email address should I log in with?
Use the email address you registered for EarnCon with. Your Swapcard account is created automatically from your registration, so a different address won’t find your event.
I didn’t get my login code or email. What should I do?
Check your spam, junk or promotions folder first, and look for a message from Swapcard. Make sure you typed your email exactly as you registered. You can request a fresh code from the login screen.
If you registered recently, it can take a little while for your account to be ready. Still stuck? Contact our team using the details at the bottom of this page.
I’ve used Swapcard at another event. Do I need a new account?
No. Log in with your existing account (as long as it uses your EarnCon registration email), then select EarnCon 2026 from your list of events.
Do I have to download the app?
No, but we recommend it for the days of the conference. The app gives you push notifications, badge scanning and quick access to your schedule. The browser version has the same agenda and networking features and works well on a laptop. Your data syncs between both.
How do I build my personal schedule?
Open the agenda, find a session you’re interested in, and tap the bookmark icon. Everything you save shows up under My Event, alongside any meetings you’ve booked.
How do I connect with or message another attendee?
Browse the attendee or speaker list, or search by name or organization, then open someone’s profile. From there you can send a connection request or a message. Once you’re connected, you’ll find them in your contacts.
How do I schedule a meeting?
Open the person’s profile and choose the option to request a meeting. Pick an available time slot and add a short note about what you’d like to talk about. They’ll get a notification to accept or decline, and confirmed meetings appear in your schedule.
How do I scan someone’s badge at the conference?
In the mobile app, look for the scan option and point your camera at the QR code on the other person’s badge. They’ll be added to your contacts, where you can tag them and add notes. If you scan while offline, the contact syncs once you’re back online.
How do I edit my profile or control what others see?
Open your profile and select Edit to update your photo, bio, organization and contact details. Your account settings include privacy options for how visible your profile and details are to other attendees.
Can I keep my contacts after the conference?
Yes. You can export your contacts, along with your schedule and meetings, from the app or browser after the event, so you can follow up with the people you met.
The app is showing old information or acting up. How do I fix it?
Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed, then close it fully and reopen it. Logging out and back in often helps. In a browser, try refreshing the page or clearing your cache. Swapcard works best in an up-to-date version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox.
Why can’t I find a feature someone mentioned?
Some Swapcard features are turned on or off by each event, so what you see at EarnCon may differ from other conferences you’ve attended with Swapcard.
